I thought I’d highlight the Entrepreneur panel at the 140 Character Conference in Detroit as part of my Define Characters series I started yesterday. This was to be a part of page just like the other post but, truth be told, it’s late, I’m tired, so it probably won’t be completed until tomorrow. This is a quick post until I get back to the other one.
David Murray was kind enough to invite me to join his State of the New Entrepreneur panel. There was much to say but time was short. I wanted to talk about how I’ve built a business the past two years solely on social media connections and what I found the turnaround time for success to be, but I’ll save that information for future blog posts instead. Besides, Chicago lyrics, 6 packs and belting out Ave Maria from the Fillmore Theater stage was way more fun.
Onto the definition of character…. there are definitely a few in this video!
Dictionary.com defines the word character in several ways, including:
- A written statement from an employer concerning the qualities of a former employee.
The entrepreneur panel consisted of moderator David Murray(TheMurr.com) , Todd List (Maxim 650), Pat Williams (Realtor & Owner of CyberCletch) and Dan Walker (River’s End Consulting). All familiar with reinventing themselves to create their own opportunities in the work force.
