Ah Ha! Ken Brand’s Book Surprises

4 min read

I’ve been following @KenBrand since the dawn of twitter time. He has always displayed class and professionalism in his interactions, and has my respect for his real estate knowledge and experience.

Earlier this month I realized Ken had published a book for real estate agents, and I sent him a message of congratulations.

Cletch tweet to Ken Brand

I received a copy of “Less Blah Blah More Ah Ha – How social media savvy real estate agents become trusted, preferred, referred – and rewarded” in the mail a few days later. I opened it and saw the extra large font and my first thought was, “uh oh, he had to make the print larger to make the book look like it had more substance.”

I was very wrong. Ken Brand’s book should be required real estate agent reading.

First, allow me to thank Ken for having the insight to realize the median age of Realtors is 56, meaning the majority of his target market has less than 20/20 vision. As a recent victim of deteriorating eyesight myself, I appreciated not having to search for my reading glasses every time I picked up the book.

And as for the content, the book offers exceptional lessons while taking readers on a journey through Ken’s extensive experience. In this book are tools to teach agents how to build successful relationships that lead to increased business. If you integrate his lessons in your life, you will not only be a better real estate agent, but you’ll be an improved human being as well. As a matter of fact, any entrepreneur who can generalize the real estate examples will find this read beneficial.

I still have a third of the book to finish, but I wanted to share my thoughts before I head to the Chicago Infusionsoft Customer Tour, followed by a few well deserved days off.
