I just came back from the Michigan Virtual Assistance Conference held in Ann Arbor this year. It's the third annual and the third gathering I've attended. It seems fall is the time to connect and reflect in Michigan, perhaps in preparation of setting goals for the new year. Although conferences can take time away from your money making activities, they're an important education and motivational tool. Use them to connect and network. Conferences are "downtime" for me. I attended my second Michigan Virtual Assistants conference this month in Ann Arbor. I love this gathering because it's small and intimate, we really have the opportunity to get to know the others in attendance. I spent the evening before and after in a suite with four women I got to know last June during the FoVA conference in Niagara Falls.
