Yesterday I had the opportunity to explain to a room of Michigan REALTORS why I believed social media was important to the real estate industry. What is exciting about my findings is that I personally have a baseline for success. For the past year, I have been helping lessees, buyers and sellers with their real estate needs. I have used social media connections as my sole source of contact. I had ZERO sphere of influence in Michigan when I became licensed in real estate so my timeline and numbers are accurate. There are many discussions about how difficult it is to determine social media’s ROI – I have unequivocal proof.
